"Done and Gone" is the quintessential 'boy does girl bad' country rock tune written by Ainslie Allen, produced and mixed by Ben Edwards, recorded at the Sitting Room, in Lyttelton, NZ. Ainslie says " I wanted to write a tune with elements of rock, to represent women who are not afraid to own their past, to tell it how it is, and who are willing to wait for what they truly deserve".
As a teen, Ainslie won the prestigious Award for ‘Best Female Woman Musician’ at the NZ Smokefree Rockquest. She went on to win the hearts of Kiwis starring with Jason Gunn on the hit TV series 'McDonald's Young Entertainers’. Ainslie was invited to sing the National Anthems numerous times for New Zealand, Australia, France and South Africa for the All Blacks and Silver Ferns. She has toured Hawaii with John Rowles and Elvis Presleys’ TCB band, entertained troops in East Timor with comedian Mike King, and is a two time graduate from the CMAA Country Music Academy in Tamworth.
