Bach Musica NZ is particularly proud to be closing the year with this magnificent programme.
Our stellar line-up features operatic Heldentenor Simon O'Neill, internationally-acclaimed bass Martin Snell, recent 2018 NZ Aria competition winner tenor Manase Latu and stunning Wellington soprano Alexandra Gandionco.
The concert includes the Good Friday scene of Wagner’s Parsifal, Gounod’s mighty Messe Solennelle, celebrating his 200th birthday, excerpts from Bach’s festive Orchestral Suite No 3 and Adam’s much loved Cantique de Noël.
This is a unique opportunity to hear world stars Simon O'Neill and Martin Snell sing Wagner in their home country. Led by international conductor and Music & Artistic Director Rita Paczian, this is going to be a concert not to be missed and perfect to commence the Christmas season.
After the concert you are invited to join the performers and the Bach Musica NZ management team for the official launch of their 2019 Subscription Series in the Town Hall's Supper Room. Complimentary wine and cheese will be provided.
