Daily J launch a Rocket

August 14 gig at Tuning Fork postponed

Rising indie rockers and band of brothers Daily J have released the second track, ‘Rocket’, from their upcoming debut album to be released in October.

Rocket follows on from the recently released Skylah and sets the tone for a blistering album of psychedelic and indie rock that is sure to be the soundtrack to Summer.

Daily J describes the new single – “Rocket is an astronomical rescue mission. It’s about escaping the clasp of depression and coming to the self-realisation that you’re worth more than what you've been fed and told. It’s about searching and gaining an understanding of life’s purpose. And if you have to, search the whole universe for meaning and fulfilment.”

Important update:

Due to recent announcements by the New Zealand Government restricting mass gatherings for an undetermined time period, the Daily J show at The Tuning Fork on August 14 is being postponed.

The band and promoter thank you for your understanding as everyone works to reschedule the date, an announcement will be made in due course.
