If ever there was a hunger to congregate we feel it now. With Auckland now joining the rest of the country at Level One, the green light finally signals a return to some sense of normality for the hard-hit live entertainment scene – at last, a time to celebrate!
In June Gramsci released Inheritance, their first album in 15 years, to overwhelming critical applause. The album's first 2 singles, "Ancient History" and "Like A Scar" are currently spinning their way through the airwaves across the country.
The debut live performance of the album by the trio Paul McLaney, Greg Haver and Jol Mulholland, was originally scheduled for August but suffered postponement a soul-destroying three times due to COVID-19 restrictions.
At long last, the good news is that now the show CAN go on, so on Friday October 16 Gramsci will finally take the stage at Auckland's ASB Waterfront Theatre to perform Inheritance in its entirety.
