Having emerged as one of Western Australia’s premier indie-rock bands over the last few years, Great Gable have spent 2019 throwing down impressive live shows right throughout Australia. Their single ‘Cool Mind Blue’ debuted at #5 on the Australian Community Radio charts earlier this year giving fans a new insight into the sonic direction the band’s taking.

They followed it up with ‘I Swear’ – a song about “refusing to judge other people, no matter what the situation is,” says the band’s Matt Preen. "It also pays homage to writing in our backyard in south-west WA, where most of our songs over the past year have been written,” he adds.

New Zealand artist Abby Wolfe joins the bill in Auckland and Tauranga, fresh on the back of the release of her new single ‘Free Falling’. A powerful pop song about “falling into love and acceptance”, Abby has taken the song on the road throughout October, visiting regional radio stations, where she has been playing the song live and acoustic. Watch her performance at Sun FM in Whakatane here.

In Auckland, Louisa Nicklin also joins the show with her mellow indie-folk sound. Featuring on 95b’s Fancy New Band, Louisa is quickly making a name for herself in the Auckland music scene. Having just released her beautiful new tune ‘Let Yourself’, Louisa is not to missed.

In Wellington, Soul Drop will be opening up the show. With a special blend of pop tunes mixed with soul, funk, reggae and blues, this Christchurch made but Wellington-based band is sure to get the audience dancing. Their 2017 hit single ‘Out Of Mind’ has conjured up an impressive 600k streams on Spotify.
