Here Lies Love At Q In Auckland

Please Don't (feat. Santigold)

As summer nears, our friends at Silo Theatre and a staggering line-up of remarkable wāhine will assemble in the Q Theatre's Rangatira to bring to life David Byrne (Talking Heads') and Fatboy Slim's (90s Dance King) concept album Here Lies Love. The original album about the life of the former First Lady of the Philippines Imelda Marcos featured an array of incredible vocalists, including Cyndi Lauper, Sia, Florence Welch, Tori Amos and many more.

Evoking the heady days of the infamous Studio 54, Aotearoa’s fiercest divas will bring this pulsing, irresistible album to life.
