818 is hosting a series of workshops focused on working in the media, featuring interesting and varied guests from all corners of the industry. Their next workshop on May 30th will host event promoter, Hamish Pinkham.
Event promoter Hamish Pinkham joins the next much anticipated ‘in conversation’ series. Starting Rhythm and Vines with a group of friends in 2003, he and the team have grown it from a small one-day event to now New Zealand’s premiere New Year festival. Alongside this has set up Endeavour Live, bringing top international acts such as Netsky, Angus and Julia Stone and Fatboy Slim for sell out runs all across the country.
Hamish joins 818 to talk the story of growing R&V, what it takes to sell tickets in NZ and gives his take on what’s in store for Auckland as we head towards our biggest year yet of local of tourism in 2021 as we host the 36th Americas Cup.
