Jed Parsons - Time

New Song Of The Day

Reuben Raj

Kiwi singer-songwriter Jed Parsons paves the way for his debut full-length album, Midnight Feast, with third single, Time.

Parsons describes his new song as a ‘falling-out-of-love’ song, which he wrote after listening “to a lot of 60s good-cheese music”. What resulted was a bit of an indie-Kiwi nod to some of his idols, including The Beach Boys, The Beatles and Frankie Valli.

Time was recorded with Lee Prebble at Surgery Studios in Wellington and follows earlier singles Get Lost and Everybody's Stupid

All three singles establish Parsons as one of New Zealand’s most intriguing new songwriters and also set the scene for the release of his debut album Midnight Feast on July 13.
