Life’s a Bitch & Mel Parsons

Since 2012 The Woolshed Tour has been a highlight on rural calendars, bringing a riotous night of entertainment to more than 100 woolsheds from Taumarunui to Tasman to Tuatapere and beyond.

Spring 2020 sees the smash-hit Woolshed Tour return with a new double-bill - ‘Life’s a Bitch’ & Mel Parsons. It’s music, it’s comedy, it’s theatre and it’s all rolled into a brilliant and unmissable community night out.

The new theatre/comedy offering ‘Life’s a Bitch’ from comedic duo The Bitches’ Box (Amelia Dunbar and Emma Newborn), alongside award-winning singer songwriter Mel Parsons, will tour 20 shows throughout the South Island. The tour kicks off in Windwhistle on October 14 and wraps up in Lake Hawea on November 22. See full list of locations and dates below, and information on show times.

A bonafide travelling roadshow - carting a bar, seating, stage curtain, props, full production equipment and crew along for the ride - the talented trio will transform working wool sheds into real-life show spaces. It makes for an unforgettable night in the country, capturing audiences once reserved for the likes of legends such as the Topp Twins, Fred Dagg and Murray Ball.
