Singer-songwriter Louis Baker will fuse his own brand of modern soul with the symphonic power of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO) for a one-off show on Thursday 11 February.
Baker will perform a selection of his current and new music, including hits ‘Rainbow’ and ‘The People’ in a relaxed acoustic concert experience. With over 20 million Spotify streams and a loyal global following Louis Baker has sold out previous shows in New Zealand and performed on the European festival circuit.
The concert kicks off with the APO performing a musical tribute to the late Italian composer Ennio Morricione, best known for his atmospheric movie scores. Baker then joins the 70-piece orchestra on stage for a sensational symphony meets soul encounter that you won't want to miss.
