Melbourne-based nine-piece soul outfit The Bamboos are ready to release their 8th album, Night Time People, this Friday.
One of the songs, Broken, addresses the issues of growing up male in the 21st century in a thoughtful and powerful way. Sydney-based rapper Urthboy contributes a moving performance, shedding light on what it really means to "man-up" in today's world.
Radio13 spoke to Bamboos bandleader Lance Ferguson just a few days ago, and we'll be sharing that conversation with you soon. In the meantime, check out this video featuring Urthboy, and longtime Bamboos vocalist Kylie Auldist... and be on the lookout for Night Time People this Friday.
