No Justice From Antagonist AD

Radio13
No Justice

The more things change, the more they stay the same. No more resonant of an adage could be said for Oceanic hardcore group Antagonist AD, proudly coming home for the first time since 2016 in support of their new single, and Greyscale Records debut No Justice, and the subsequent follow up A.P.M.D.

Following selling out both of their return shows in Melbourne, and Sydney, the band return to New Zealand for a one off show at Whammy Bar in Auckland this September. All those in attendance the last time Antagonist AD sold out Whammy Bar, and those who witnessed the recent chaos in Melbourne and Sydney can attest to the fact this is not a show to be missed.

No Justice is about coming to the reality that western society was built upon prejudice and injustice. That the only way to change it is to first change yourself and own your actions/consequences. That the only way to find justice is to be accountable for the way you live -accepting that your actions have consequences. So we will push on for change, living a better way, one step at a time - Lead vocalist, Sam Crocker

The fire I had inside me for Antagonist AD is raging. We slept and now we are back. Our shows were always crazy and we missed that energy, that feeling, that release and that’s why we are back. The music is not just for us, it is for everyone. We feed each other; the feeling, being connected, the release and the empowerment. We have written our best stuff yet and as long as people are there to get down - we are gonna bring it.

Joining Antagonist A.D. in Auckland as main support are Hamilton's Seas Of Conflict. Seas Of Conflict offer depth, colour, and contrast against a devastating, rhythmic soundscape that cannot be left unnoticed. West Auckland heavy metal band Downfall of Humanity are also joining the bill. Straight outta Laingholm the 5 piece combines the crushingly heavy with tasty melodies and harmonies, they will get your heads banging. Opening the night will be Pale Flag - a metal/hardcore band from Auckland formed in early 2018. Known for their high energy live show with hard hitting music that will get the crowd moving.
