RIP Ennio Morricone 1928-2020
The great Italian maestro, Ennio Morricone died on 6 July at the age of 91 in Rome, Italy.
The Oscar-winning composer was well known for his sweeping scores in Sergio Leone's western classics in the 60s as well as modern cinema with scores for Brian De Palma, Quentin Tarantino and more.
After being nominated six times from 1979 onwards, Morricone finally won the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 2016 for the Tarantino movie, The Hateful Eight.
Ennio Morricone has touched numerous hearts throughout his career and his legacy will forever be cherished.
