The legendary Engelbert Humperdinck is bringing 50 years of hits to New Zealand in early 2019 with his critically-acclaimed The Man I Want To Be Tour.

Humperdinck’s ‘The Man I Want To Be Tour’ takes its name from his latest album released last year, which marked his 50th anniversary in the music industry and also served as love letter to his wife Patricia of 53 years who is suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease. The album, which is made up of original tracks and covers of contemporary songs, including Ed Sheeran’s Photograph and Bruno MarsJust the Way You Are has received rave reviews.

Presented by MJR in partnership with APA Touring, the British ‘King of Romance’ will play three shows - Bruce Mason Centre in Auckland on Thursday, February 28, Isaac Royal Theatre in Christchurch on Saturday, March 2 and the Opera House in Wellington on Monday, March 4.
